Brenda Sanford, MD received her Bachelor of Science and her M.D. degrees at the University of Michigan. She followed in her father’s footsteps and completed her Orthopedic Surgery Training at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Sanford is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). She is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and is a foot and ankle specialist. She is also a longtime member of the Ruth Jackson Society, an organization of female orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Sanford is board-certified and advanced fellowship explicitly trained for foot and ankle disorders in addition to her five-year residency in orthopedic surgery. In addition to offering full podiatry services, Dr. Brenda Sanford has extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. As a board-certified surgeon, she treats all aspects of foot and ankle disease.
